Clothing
Labourer's Clothes
Porter's Bar residents most commonly wear simple suits made from Bean Fibre
for doing manual or basic work. The Bean Fibres can be treated, spun and woven
to make a coarse material - it is y woven into simple oblong shapes and then
sewn together using more of the fibre to make suits reminiscent of the Gi used
in modern martial arts. Most are left un-dyed and stay the grey/green of the
original bean fibre. (Colour

Hunter's Clothes
Like the labourers, most hunter trappers and fishermen wear simple bean
fibre suits. Only they find that the light green can sometimes be a bit
conspicuous. Often they will wear a bean fibre cloak or dyed a darker green
using the leaves and stalks of the marsh bean as a dye source. This dye leaves
the material a dirty looking green, that provides better camouflage in the
swamps. Most people go barefoot while working in the swamps but wear simple
sandals when walking the roads. (Colour

Around Town
The same style of clothing is worn by most workers around the town as well -
however they are more liable to have clothes dyed either yellow or green (using
the local vegetable food stuffs). Again sandals are the footwear of choice for
most people. (Colour

Getting Wealthier
The wealthier people are, the more liable they are to add imported clothes
to their wardrobe. At the lower end of the scale its felt garments imported from
Baraduum - right up to the silk and satin imports for nobles and royalty. Felt
slippers for indoor wear are a sure sign of social success. (Colour

Sunday Best
Most people have some 'Sunday best' clothes that they use for church, or
social events. Styles are similar, but the darker the colour the 'better' the
suit. Even the least well-off labourer will have something dark (even if its
only a belt) to indicate that he has made an effort. (Colour
