Music ..
Small drums, similar to Bongos or a tabor, made from swamp Apple wood covered
with hide skins and bone flutes or reeds pipes are the most common instruments
of porter's bar music.
Less common is a simple 5 string, plucked zither which is played while seated.
More sophisticated stringed instruments, such as the Lute and the Mandolin are
imported from overseas but are more expensive. Bronze straight horns are also
imported from Baraduum, but have a limited range, - they are often used to
provide 'bass' support for larger musical combinations.
