Dolls and Faces

These are examples of Inky's work -  The dolls are  simple and there are  no moving parts.  Most adult figures are  shown with beards, some will have a sword and a helmet (to represent a warrior) others might wear robes like in these examples, and carry a staff to  represent a wizard.  Others are clean shaven and  perhaps represent babies or smaller children.

The faces are more complex, and require more fine carving -  so  he generally asks a little  more  for them.  He  leaves a small loop on the back of  each face  so they  can be  fixed to things  quite easily.  It  is  possible to  sew them to  clothing or to get a smith to attach them to a pin, to  make a simple brooch.  A perfect present for the  wife, girl friend, mother, lover ....
