His family history
Reginald von Zebeau, 4th Duke of Falmar, has been ruler of Falmar
for about 30 years now, he has a good understanding of his nation and has continued
his father’s policy of allowing newcomers to settle on the land. Most recently he has be concentrating his
efforts on sending people down to the village of Hapsburg, where they have a
copper mine and access to the great lake.
However, he is always happy to slide a few new settlers in to the more established
villages if they have the right skills.
Radcliff von Zebeau, 3rd Duke of Falmar, over saw the development of
Sittor, Matock and Kethlow into full market towns servicing local villages. He converted Hapsburg from a military lookout
point to a village when copper was discovered.
Raeburn von Zebeau, 2nd Duke of Falmar, continued building at Falmar
and established settlements at Sittor, Matock and Kethlow. Established the Nobility system and the
Falmic Order and appointed the first few nobles.
Rupert von Zebeau, spurned the family tradition and joined the army, and he was
a natural. He rose through the ranks and
became one of the youngest generals in the Army of Gonma, commanding the
Southern Army. Was appointed as one of
the Lords-Advisor on the military council and adopted the von into his name to indicate
that. He was the general that lead the final attack against the invasion humanoid
invasion forces that drove the usurpers back out of the Inner Nations and
camped his army in the gap between the Mountains and the Forest. He became the 1st Duke of Falmar,
naming his new land after his Great Grandfather’s ship, which had bought them to
this new land of opportunity.
Captain Raleigh Zebeau, third son of Randolph
took to the sea again, and became captain of a coastal patrol vessel.
Sir Randolph Zebeau, the second son of captain Rawley took over as Governor of
Norport on the death of his father, and was rewarded by grant of a knighthood
and lairdship.
Captain Rawley Zebeau, the founder of the dynasty in this land. Joined the Gon navy as a lad and worked his
way up through the ranks. By the time of
the exodus was captain of one of deep sea sailing vessel used for exploration
and intelligence purposes. When it came necessary
to send a settlement force away, Captain Zeeman and his vessel were
selected. The exodus included members of
many noble houses, and the land was divided up among them. Captain Zeeman was instructed to build a small,
government controlled, trading and fishing port in the north of the country.
