The Lake
The Lake is huge it extends
for miles.
Close to Hapsburg the water
is shallow but rumours abound of a deep trench that reaches all the way into a
flooded underworld somewhere in the lake. To the north of The lake, a large
swampy area separates the water from the mountains, making it difficult to
travel around the northern shore. Canoes are used to collect reeds and eggs, fish or catch game
birds. While around the margins you may
well encounter a trapper lay snares for musk
rat.
