Taxes 

Mining Tax

There is a small licence fee to enter a mine.  (1sp/month)

Road Tax

Small fee to travel with the guards as they make their regular run along the main roads (1sp per head - human or animal)

Death Tax

The ‘Lord of the Manor’ is entitled to choose one items from the dead persons property, before the rest is passed on to the heirs.

Property Tax

A small annual tax is levied against each property in  the area.  This varies from 1gp to 30gp per year.

Head Tax

1.5gp per adult  (15+)  or  1gp if they are part of the Militia or members of the Falmic Order.

Rent

The Lord of the Manor is entitled to collect rent on EVERY property in his area, this can range from 1gp to over 50gp per year, but is agreed with the lessor in advance.

Metal Rights

All metal taken from  mines MUST be sold to the State via the Smelting House.
