The Hapsburg Inn

The local pub, hotel and restaurant rolled into one. The main room is open to all customers and is a focus of community social life. At the weekends the landlord lets local entertainers play in one corner of the bar and allows them to collect ‘tips’ from customers.  The lounge is a second, quieter, room restricted to resident and ‘senior’ members of the community.  All customers are expected to behave with proper decorum and respect when dining or eating in the lounge.  There are four rooms for rent at the inn. Two of the rooms have twin beds and costs 5 sp per person per night. The other rooms have 3 sets of bunk beds each (sleep 6) and they cost 2sp per bed per night. A light breakfast (bread and eggs) is included in the price

Staff

Marie Benoir – Land Lady (Human  female, 41)  Marie is a stately looking woman who visits the bar and the kitchens frequently to make sure that all is well.   She friendly with the general clientele but not over chatty. She is much more  comfortable in the lounge chatting to the ‘Senior’ village residents and residents.

Sam Benoir –  Barman, (Human male, 22) Marie's son, Sam  oversees the public bar. He can normally be found serving  customers up at the bar and setting up drink orders for the waitresses.  Whenthe bar is quiet he is happy to chat with customers.

Molly & Jenny – Barmaids (Human females, 19 & 21)  Their job is to run drinks and meals out to clients. They flirt a bit (but that’s it) and are generally too busy for long conversations.  One is normally assigned to keep an eye on  the customers in the lounge to make sure they don't have to wait too long for an order.

Gaston - Cook, cleaner and chamber 'maid'  (Half-elf  male, 34) -   Gaston prepares the food and keeps the place clean and tidy.

Jim – Stable Lad (Half-orc male, 32) Jim looks after customers’ horses or other mounts, but also acts as a potboy and bouncer when needed. He is strong, not too bright - but not a thug either.
