The Thirty Years War

‘Twas in the thirty years war,
South of Bohemia.
When a group of English gentlemen
Found Hibblesvania.
They were entertained and feasted
By Duke Rumpole De Ferte,
With quantities of hibble brew
Next day their heads all hurt.

With them was Richard Grenville
Dispenser of excess.
The noises from his britches,
Did every one impress.
He did cows and sheep and chickens,
He kissed wenches he supped wine,
And was last seen clambering upon
a mountain dancing swine.

The Hibble man in Holland
Was Count Von Klimphantoop.
When he heard tales of Grenville
How he would laugh and whoop.
So when the Queen of England
Came to Holland with her cause,
He promised Hibble assistance
In the English civil wars.

So now the men of Hibble
Are fighting with John Boyes.
As they march into battle
Their britches full of noise.
Scaring rebel parliament
With the holy Hibble writ,
And filling every round head soldiers
Britches up with Sh__ame.
